The Borderline Treasures Story

Borderline Treasures was born from my desire to build a legacy for my family and create something lasting that ties us together. The spark came from my granddaughter, who has a horse named Aurora. Conversations with my daughter and son-in-law about boarding her horse grew into a bigger dream: buying land where we could have stables, family housing, and a generational setup that included multiple businesses.

While my family wasn’t immediately as excited as I was, I realized that if this vision was going to happen, I would have to take the first step and show them what was possible. That’s when I created Aurora Borders as a holding company, and Borderline Treasures as the first business under that umbrella.

I began by selling items on Facebook Marketplace, learning how to find products at lower cost and still offer them affordably to others. This became more than just a way to earn — it became the foundation for something much larger. My plan is to grow Borderline Treasures into a profitable business that will provide the capital for bigger ventures: purchasing land, building stables, creating a tiny home and RV park for seniors, adding storage facilities, and even partnering with nonprofits to serve the community.

As a single mother who raised two daughters on my own, and now at 57 years old, I am determined to set myself up for a meaningful retirement while building a legacy that benefits my entire family. More than that, I want Borderline Treasures to reflect my belief that we are blessed to be a blessing. I have received help and support many times in my life, and I know it is my turn to give back in a big way.

Borderline Treasures is not just a business — it is the foundation of my vision, a step toward generational stability, community, and impact. Each sale brings me one step closer to the bigger dream that began with a little girl’s horse named Aurora — a dream built on faith, family, and the belief that we are blessed to be a blessing.
